This tool does what everyone is doing in EDM and. First off, gotta give them creativity points on the name for sure. With the success of the Little Primal Tap, they’re giving away the new pitch mod tool, The Little Alterboy. Soundtoys always makes some of the best “you didn’t know you needed it” plugins. However I have two problems with AlterBoy, first of all it creates this weird phasey sound (seen others mention this as well) which is hard to remove and it destroys mono compatability.
Little AlterBoy (pitch/formant) alternative? Hi Ive recorded a track where the vocals rely heavily (100% wet) on pitch & formant shifting.
